 Congratulations Olympians!

Congrats Olympians

Eleven of our excellent Olympians have been accepted into YouthForce NOLA’s Summer Internship Program.

These students will earn over 100 hours of soft skills training and job experience, and will earn a $1200 stipend. Students will be placed in GNO Inc.’s identified High Wage/High Demand Pathways for their internship hours.

Also, seven of our Olympians have been accepted into the New Orleans Career Center for the 2019-2020 school year. These seven students will be taking specialized coursework in the fields of Health Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, and Software Development. Students will attend the NOCC for half of the day during the next school year.

All of these students will be positioned to be among the most sought after talent for the jobs in the highest demand industries in the Greater New Orleans Area.

Thank you Dr. Krentel for your guidance and leadership of our students through this process. Thank you students for doing the work and being the fantastic young people that you are. Thank you to YouthForce NOLA and the New Orleans Career Center for their partnerships.
