Logan Crowe graduated from Loyola University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (1990) and from UNO with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership (2006). Logan began his educational journey in 1990 as a fifth grade teacher for the New Orleans Free School. He later taught eighth grade until August 28th, 2005. Logan was an original cohort member of the Urban Leadership Academy at UNO. After graduating he was an assistant principal for three years and a principal for eight. Logan has been implementing conflict resolution and restorative approaches in his classrooms and schools for over two and a half decades. Mr. Davis is a graduate of Tulane University and McGill University’s Faculty of Law (B.A. 2007; LL.B./B.C.L. 2010). He is a former classroom teacher and grant writer. Ms. Goudeau is passionate and committed to serving the Einstein Charter community (students, staff, & parents). Her educational experiences have afforded her the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement and well-being. Alayna Gougis holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans and a Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from the American InterContinental University. In 2010, Ms. Gougis began her career at Einstein Charter School Village De L’Est as a paraprofessional and has persevered through the years to her current position as a Payroll and Purchasing Specialist. In conjunction with being an employee, Ms. Gougis is a parent of four (4) Einstein Charter School students. Her children give her the motivation needed to work along side the Einstein Leadership Team to make Einstein Charter Schools true places for academic excellence for everyone involved.

Dr. Guidry received his doctorate of dentistry and oral medicine, prior to practicing for many years as a dentist specializing in oral surgery (L.S.U. 1971). He joined Einstein Charter School in 2007. Prior to working in his current role, Dr. Guidry was a small business owner/operator. Ms. Lacayo joined the Einstein Family in 2014. She was born in Honduras and moved to New Orleans when she was fourteen years old. Johana earned her Associate’s Degree in Medical Assistance from ASA College in Brooklyn, New York in 2005. Before stepping into her new role with the CMO, Johana was a part of the ESL team, a member of the VDLE front office, and a translator for the Hispanic community. She plans to continue her work in education and attain her degree in early childhood education.

Rachel Matus holds degrees from Georgia Southern University (B.S. in Education and Spanish) and is pursuing a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. She has taught every content area, and has a combined 10 years experience teaching Science and Social Studies. While her passion is curriculum, Rachel has also served as an instructional coach, soccer coach, drama teacher, testing coordinator, 504 coordinator, developed an ESL program, facilitated character education programs, and played a critical role in many aspects of educational professional development. She believes that all students can learn and achieve educational goals when meaningful relationships and high expectations exist within their school and school-community.

Martha McKnight has 32 years of experience in development and nonprofit leadership. Megan Pavageau holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Houston in Sociology and is pursuing a master’s degree in Pan-African Studies (PAS) from the University of Louisville. Prior to teaching, Megan worked in the PAS department as a graduate assistant and briefly in marketing and events management. Donna Reno has 17 years of experience in the field of special education. She holds an Elementary Education degree from the University of New Orleans, a Master’s Degree +30 in Special Education and is a Doctoral Candidate in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Special Education at Southeastern Louisiana University. She has served as a parent advocate at Families Helping Families and the Louisiana Parent Training and Information Center where she trained teachers, administrators and parents throughout the State of Louisiana on various special education topics. She has experience as a founding member in a charter school system and currently serves on the Special Education Advisory Panel (SEAP) for the Louisiana State Department of Education.

Courtney Romero holds a degree in Education from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and has been an educator for 20 years.
