ECS Sherwood Forest Students Awarded for “No Bullying” Practices

MAY 9, 2018:  On May 9th Einstein Charter School at Sherwood Forest received a special “No Place for Hate” banner from Anti-Defamation League Board Member Louis Shepard, on behalf of the Anti-Defamation League of New Orleans and corporate sponsor Entergy.  ECS at Sherwood Forest is an exceptionally diverse school with an enriching culture.  The honor was bestowed to the school as a symbol of the efforts made to ensure that students feel safe and there is no bullying.  To earn the banner the school also hosted three multi-cultural events throughout the year – TET (Vietnamese New Year’s), Black History Month Program and Hispanic Heritage Awareness.
