Einstein Charter Schools Promotes Nathan Stockman to High School Principal
NEW ORLEANS: Einstein Charter Schools is pleased to announce the promotion of Nathan Stockman to Principal of Einstein Charter High School. Mr. Stockman has been serving in the role of Interim Principal since June 2017.
“I am proud to be a part of the success that Einstein Charter has brought to this high school,” said Mr. Stockman. “I’m honored to be at a school where students and faculty are happy and engaged. I am eager to help craft the vision and direction of Einstein Charter High as we build towards our first graduating class in 2020.”
In his first few months at Einstein Charter High, Mr. Stockman led all areas of school programming, including setting foundations and processes for students to reach their highest potential on the ACT and earn Industry Based Certifications. At a recent board meeting one of those parents commended Stockman for his efforts and recognized the impact he has made in the short time frame.
Mr. Stockman joined Einstein from Belle Chasse High School where he served as a Certified English Teacher and Curriculum Specialist since 2009. In his role as Curriculum Specialist he helped Belle Chasse move from a B to an A school. In addition to his professional expertise, Mr. Stockman shared his passion for baseball as the Head Baseball Coach at Belle Chasse High where the team was two-time district champions and state runner up in 2010. Stockman was instrumental in developing Belle Chasse High School’s “Flex” and ACT Prep programs which provided students increased opportunities to improve school performance and increase ACT scores.
Mr. Stockman obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Montevallo in Alabama in 2004, graduating Cum Laude while playing DII Baseball. He also earned his Master Degree, specializing in Secondary Language Arts, from the same university in 2006.
