Principal’s Message
Welcome students and families to Einstein Charter. The professional staff employed by Einstein works diligently to provide our students with a rigorous, competitive curricula and an array of extracurricular activities. We also create and maintain an environment of safety, cleanliness, responsibility, high expectations, and respect. Einstein provides an environment where all of our students are given the opportunity to reach their full potential and to foster a love of lifelong learning. It is required that all students work towards their full potential.
Einstein realizes the importance of parent involvement and support. Parents who are available during the day, we welcome you to volunteer. Parents who are not available during the day, we ask that you call Einstein so that you may become aware of the ways you may volunteer after hours. I do ask that all parents continue to demonstrate their support of academic excellence that Einstein provides by ensuring that you and your child read and discuss the Einstein Parent/Student Handbook, that your child attends school every day and arrives on time, to submit required documentation of your child’s absence the day of his/her return to school, to talk to your child daily about his/her school day, review and/ or assist your child with daily homework and to ensure they turn it in on time, to attend all meetings and report card conferences, and to call the school for an appointment with your child’s teacher’s with any concerns. The administrators maintain an open door policy and will also make appointments to meet with you.
Einstein Charter School is recognized as a top performing school in New Orleans. Parents are vital in our continued success of educating the children of which we are privileged to serve. Our goal is to ensure that our students are academically prepared so that their choices in continuing education are limitless. We need your continued support in this most important goal.
Thank you for choosing Einstein Charter School and we look forward to working with you to ensure that all of our children succeed.
Sincerely,
Shawn Toranto, Principal
