Einstein Charter School at Village de l’Est (ECS@VDLE) is the site of the first Einstein School and was the first open-admissions “B” school in the East! In the immediate wake of the hurricane, Einstein opened in 2006 and began operating as a PK-8 elementary, Einstein Charter School at Village de l’Est is at the site of the former Etienne Debore Elementary School, a previously failing school closed by the storm. Our flagship school, ECS@VDLE offers a competitive education to PK-5 students.
