Adopt-A-Senior is a program that offers support and guidance to 100% of Sarah T. Reed's Senior students. Students are paired with community members and/or staff members across the Einstein Schools. Through this partnership, students receive guidance on being responsible, support to maintain academic excellence, social support, and advisement on college and career readiness.
Resilient Family/ Familia Resiliente is a program that support our families by connecting them to resources, support services, citizenship services, language services, and post-secondary advisement.
Enseñar Nuevo Orleans is a fellowship program that supports a cohort of graduating Latino/a seniors by providing them with post-graduation leadership training, work opportunity within our network of schools as paraprofessionals within our English Language Learners Program, and college readiness, matriculation, and attrition support. Einstein Schools serves one of the largest ELL populations in New Orleans. As such, we deem it important to provide these cohorts of students with opportunities that will allow them to thrive educationally and socially, while also ensuring that they gain the skills necessary to give back to our local community.
