At Einstein, we aim to empower our secondary students to solve real-world problems. Therefore, we nurture our children's intellectual capacity by teaching them how to be STRONG learners and critical thinkers.
Through ACTION, we aim to not only teach curriculum, but nurture the whole child. Our scholars spend most of their day exploring, analyzing, discussing, and synthesizing texts, complex math problems, intriguing science experiments, and creative works of art.
Our approach to math gives students powerful conceptual understanding along with computational speed and fluency, so they can confidently and productively apply mathematical skills in new and unfamiliar contexts and use their understanding to solve real-world problems. Our schools use Eureka Math and SpringBoard to provide students with rigorous content development.
Einstein Schools is aligned with the state and offers Tier 1 Curriculum. ELA Guidebooks is a curriculum for whole-class instruction. ELA Guidebooks units are a coherent set of plans focused on real learning grounded in a collection of texts. Each text collection has a shared idea, such as the American Revolution, and contains authentic texts and novels commonly celebrated by teachers and students. Students engage with the texts and ideas repeatedly throughout a unit to build knowledge and tackle big ideas.
As we increasingly become more of a science and technology-based society, we prioritize preparing students for the world. S.T.E.A.M is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.
Einstein Middle School offers after school programming focused on S.T.E.A.M. We partner with 21st Century Community Works of Louisiana to offer our students multiple opportunities to develop their passions.
